Am honoured to have my poem ‘Soundings from a Hart’ included in Romance Options: Love Poems for Today, a new anthology from the Dedalus Press. A Hart is a male red stag and for the first time, that I recall, we are getting rare sightings of stags swimming in Lough Derg. My husband's family crest is of a hind with a rose in her mouth, so there are lots of associations in this poem. Read More
